Vacation Etiquette

      This is one of those things that should not need to be discussed yet here we are.  Being on vacation should be a nice, peaceful, and relaxing time but unfortunately you end up being around some of the most disrespectful people who should have just stayed home.

      I’m sure that the things that others find annoying and or disrespectful the people doing those things thinks it is  cool.  On behalf of people who just want a nice relaxing vacation these things are not cool so just stop it.  Some examples are reeving your engines real loud, whether it is your truck, car, or motorcycle. By the way the music that is blaring so loud it can be heard a mile away is also not cool.  This is just loud and annoying and in no way do I, or probably any other person say wow they are so cool, unless it’s like I do, sarcastically.

    Another thing that I feel needs to be discussed is etiquette when staying in a condo environment.  It is not necessary to scream, run, and make excessive noise outside of someone elses condo.  If you do find this necessary to do go by your own condo and do it.  Running up and down the stairs while being loud is also frowned upon.  Not everyone is on the same schedule as you so some people may be sleeping at lets say 3 am.

On my recent vacation there are 2 instances where people needed to take a vacation etiquette class.  The first one would be the person or people flipping cigarette butts all over the condo areas.  One night my husband and I were sitting out on the balcony and right in front of our balcony area lands a cigarette butt.  Now the place we stayed in was pretty much all wooden it wouldn’t have taken much for a fire to start.  There were also cigarette butts all around the property and on the stairwells.

Then there is the dude in the jeep, who did pretty much everything I wrote about here and more.  There are parking spaces under the condos if you choose to park there. There is however a rule that states if you park there you are not to block the walkway.  Well either the dude in the jeep can not read or he thinks the rules do not apply to him.  Every time we would walk to the pool area or beach we would have to walk around this jeep.
