Trying to plan activities for a trip can be a little tricky.  You have to constantly check the weather to coordinate what you will be doing.  The trip we are taking it doesn’t seem like the weather is going to cooperate because apparently winter is not over.  So some things that I have planned may get changed but it will add to the adventure.

 If you are going to an area that you have never been to before the best thing to do is look at that states website.  There are many suggestions of things to do in different areas.  Another thing I was not aware of by looking at the states website is you can request brochures, you know like the ones you find at rest stops and hotels. I ordered mine and the actually came pretty quickly.  They gave me all the information I needed to schedule our activities, even came with a little map.  Because of the weather I will probably have to stop at the state welcome rest stop and pick up some other ones in case I need other ideas.  My favorite part was in the back of the brochures were coupons for places I wanted to go.  I will be reviewing the places we go to so make sure you come back for that.
